Villa Croce reopens to the public with the exhibition "Sirotti e i Maestri"

The exhibition studies the connections between the world of the Genoese Master Raimondo Sirotti (1934 - 1917)  and the Ligurian Masters of the Twentieth century, but also the great protagonists of the Genoese baroque, from which the artist took inspiration. Sirotti’s world is made of light, colours, positivity and energy, it is presented through a path made by immersive and captivating experiences, which are often multisensorial and illustrate the great emotional power of Sirotti’s works and of a language that always takes origin from a “nature that makes itself colour”

The Museum of Villa Croce holds an artistic treasure of over 3,000 pieces of Italian and foreign abstract art from 19391980; Genoese and Ligurian art from the second half of the 20th century; Italian graphic of the second half of the 20th century; and the significant collection of abstract art Maria Cernuschi Ghiringhelli with over 200 artworks by some of the major Italian artists.

The museum also houses a library and an archive.
