Taken by Captain D’Albertis between 1870 and 1910 in Genoa, in Italy and around the world, the archive contains more than 20,000 photos, that have come to us in a wooden trunk in the form of negatives, as glass sheets or films.
Friends and visitors of the castle can leap through the photo albums, on a journey through time and space, between famous characters and distinguished strangers, at sea, in the countryside, among the indigenous peoples of the world: a journey across the board through our own reality and others.
