- Faculty and students enrolled in the Department of Architecture and Design of the Polytechnic School, the School of Humanities, the Department of Education Sciences of the School of Social Sciences, and the Ligustica Academy,
- Individuals requesting admission for study or research purposes, certified by educational or university institutions, academies, research and cultural institutions (both Italian and foreign), or by Ministry bodies, or for specific and justified needs,
- Groups or school parties from public and private schools in the EU, accompanied by their teachers, upon reservation.

Residents of the Metropolitan City of Genoa are granted free admission every Sunday and during the last time slot before museum closing, under the following conditions:
Musei di Strada Nuova, Castello d’Albertis and Museo di Sant’Agostino: single admission time at 5:30 pm
All other Civic Museums: admission during the 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm time slotVisitors are strongly advised to check the information pages of each museum in advance for any schedule changes or unexpected closures.
Only at the Doria Natural History Museum: faculty and students enrolled in the Department of Earth, Environment, and Life Sciences of the School of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences.
