Research shows how the heritage preserved in the largest cemetery in Europe, the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno, can be seen under many aspects: from a historical and artistic perspective for example. This underlines the emphasis on the bounds of the city to its culture and to the narratives contained in the perimeter of the Cemetery, which is actually a sort of open-air museum destination for tourists and visitors. In fact, a path is dedicated to the graves of famous persons linked to the history of the Genoa Cricket and Football Club. Among them we should not miss: Hermann Bauer, Ottavio Barbieri, Edoardo Catto, Geo Davidson, Giovanni De Prà, Enrico Pasteur, Ernesto De Galleani.
