It comes from the votive aedicule on the façade of Niccolò Paganini's house in passo di Gattamora 38, demolished in 1968. Statue of the Madonna standing, with her hands on her chest, her face slightly lowered and her eyes closed. The Virgin is wearing a long dress with a wide cloak and veil and is portrayed in the typical iconography of the “Immaculate Conception” or the “Woman of the Apocalypse”. She is standing on a pile of clouds and a downward-pointing crescent moon and is shown crushing the serpent, symbol of the devil, with her left foot.
