Inside the bastion, in a secluded corner protected by the wood, a nautical cabin has been reconstructed, as a possible blend of the cabins where the Captain retired when he was at sea on board of his two cutters, of the ship Emilia on which he passed the Suez Canal, and of the countless boats on which he crossed the sea at all latitudes.
