The Civic Museums of Genoa are pet-friendly thanks to an agreement signed between the Museums Directorate and Bauadvisor, an Italian company active in promoting and managing innovative, all-encompassing services dedicated to dogs and their owners, designed to support living together 24/7.
Thanks to this collaboration, it is now possible to reconcile access to museum spaces with the needs of four-legged friends and their owners.
This is a true dog-sitting service created by Bauadvisor, allowing museum visitors who are dog owners to fully enjoy their visit by entrusting their pet to a professional dog sitter for the entire duration of their stay inside the museum.
The service is already available by reservation through the portal www.bauadvisor.it and the Bauadvisor app.
Visitors with a valid admission ticket to one of the participating city museums are entitled to a discount on the service fee offered by Bauadvisor.
Once the reservation is made, Bauadvisor’s expert team will be ready to welcome the visitor at the entrance of the selected museum and temporarily take care of their dog, taking it for a walk and ensuring it has fun. The dog will be returned to its owner directly in front of the museum at the end of the visit.
