Loan request shall be addressed to the museum management (rbesta@comune.genova.it) at least 6 months before the opening for exhibitions in Italy and at least 9 months before the opening for overseas exhibitions, to assess the loan opportunity and carryout ministerial permit paperworks (DL 42/2004).

Loan requests must contain the following documentation:

• Title and start and end dates of the exhibition;
• List of works requested on loan
• Scientific project, with curator directions and, possibly, of the scientific council
• List of all included works in the exhibition plan
• Facility report of the operational headquarters
• Import warranty to Italy in the event of overseas exhibitions.
